Pelosi Intrudes Into Wayne’s World
by Wayne Simmons
Posted 09/18/2009 ETAs I reflect back over the 27 years I spent hunting terrorists and those supporting them on virtually every continent in the world, I can’t help but wonder how my case officer would react today if he was alive to watch the Speaker of the House of the Congress of the United States attack and attempt to dismantle the CIA, the single most important intelligence agency in the world. In 1975, I watched the Church Committee decimate the CIA’s human intelligence — “humint” — capabilities. As a result, for over 25 years the U.S. was subjected to brutal, deadly attacks by Islamic terrorists at our bases and embassies around the world and on the high seas. This did not seem to alarm anyone other than those of us with the CIA and FBI until the Islamic terrorists drove jets into the World Trade Center towers on September 11, 2001. Only then did Congress want to know why the CIA and other U.S. intelligence agencies did not or could not foresee the attack that killed almost 3,000 people.
Nancy Pelosi, who I suggested was a “pathological liar” on the Fox News Channel 4 months ago, told reporters in May that she had not been informed that waterboarding was used against terrorism suspects (though she finally acknowledged she had been briefed in at least 2003).
That was, of course, despite the fact that the CIA compiled, the DNI released, and HUMAN EVENTS broke the story of the memo that showed Pelosi had been briefed on September 4, 2002 which “enhanced interrogation techniques” — which we know included waterboarding — had been used on Abu Zubaydeh.
It is exhausting just trying to keep up with Pelosi’s stories
…and NOW :
Wayne Simmons, recurring Fox News guest, charged with lying about CIA ties
WYFF4, CNN ^ | Oct 15, 2015 | Dylan ByersPosted on 10/15/2015 4:47:26 PM by familyop
Simmons is accused of falsely claiming that he worked as an “outside paramilitary special operations officer” for the CIA from 1973 to 2000. On Fox, this was often shortened to “former CIA operative.” He was also indicted for using that false claim to gain government security clearances and an assignment as a defense contractor, where he advised senior military personnel overseas…If convicted, he could face up to 35 years in prison…Fox’s web site lists dozens of appearances and quotes, usually labeling him a former CIA “operative,” “analyst” or “officer.”…The U.S. Attorney’s Office said that along with the CIA-related fraud, “the indictment also alleges that Simmons defrauded an individual victim out of approximately $125,000 in connection with a bogus real estate investment.”
Oops.

He also falsely equated Russia with the U.S.A. in his rants about the War on Terror. How many more “analysts” will they scrape up? Stay tuned!
To: familyopThey also kept Mansoor Ijaz around long after it became clear he was simply making his reports up.And don’t even get me started about Geraldo Rivera.

Democratic Debate Turns Hillary Clinton’s Way After Months of Difficulties (BARF Alert)
New York Times ^ | 10/14/15 | Patrick HealyPosted on 10/14/2015 7:27:51 AM by CASchack
On Tuesday night, after months of political heartburn, things finally started cutting Hillary Rodham Clinton’s way.
Her performance at the first Democratic presidential debate was so commanding that even her greatest vulnerability — the lingering controversy over her private email practices as secretary of state — ended up redounding to her benefit.
After she crisply explained that she made a “mistake” using a private email server and defended her judgment, the moderator, Anderson Cooper of CNN, turned to her biggest threat in the primary campaign so far, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, in hopes that he would attack her. Mr. Sanders instead came to her aid.
“Let me say something that may not be great politics, but I think the secretary is right — and that is that the American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails,” Mr. Sanders said to cheers and a standing ovation from the Democratic audience.
“Thank you!” Mrs. Clinton said, reaching out and shaking his hand. “Me, too! Me, too!”
Highlights From the Debate
Catch up on analysis of the first Democratic presidential debate featuring Hillary Rodham Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Martin O’Malley, Jim Webb and Lincoln Chafee.
All night, the debate played to Mrs. Clinton’s advantage and to her opponents’ limitations. From gun control and banking regulations to debt-free college and Social Security benefits, Mrs. Clinton positioned herself as a champion of liberals, young people, and the elderly — the very voters who make up the Sanders coalition — while also repeatedly reaching out to women, as an advocate for families and children (and as, potentially, the nation’s first female president).

The New York Times breaks out the pom-poms to cheer on Hillary. They are nothing more than HRC’s PR firm.

To: CASchackthe American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emailsAhh … but if Mr. Obama wants the FBI to remain interested, they will remain interested.
To: CASchackI am certain the sole purpose of this debate was to make Hillary look good. It was not a real debate at all. I wonder how much Bernie was paid to defend the liar?

In GOP war on Social Security, only Trump gets itMySanAntonio ^ | Aug 18 2015 | Paul Krugman Posted on 8/29/2015 9:34:15 PM by WilliamIII
Republican presidential candidates. who have had to seek contributions from a handful of wealthy contributors, want to cut Social Security. Average Americans love the program; the superwealthy don’t.
Something strange is happening in the Republican primary — something strange, that is, besides the Trump phenomenon. For some reason, just about all the leading candidates other than The Donald have taken a deeply unpopular position, a known political loser, on a major domestic policy issue. And it’s interesting to ask why. The issue in question is the future of Social Security, which turned 80 last week. The retirement program is, of course, both extremely popular and a long-term target of conservatives, who want to kill it precisely because its popularity helps legitimize government action in general. As the right-wing activist Stephen Moore (now chief economist of the Heritage Foundation) once declared, Social Security is “the soft underbelly of the welfare state”; “jab your spear through that” and you can undermine the whole thing. But that was a decade ago, during former President George W. Bush’s attempt to privatize the program, and what Bush learned was that the underbelly wasn’t that soft after all. Despite the political momentum from the GOP’s victory in the 2004 election, despite support from much of the media establishment, the assault on Social Security crashed and burned. Voters, it turns out, like Social Security as it is and don’t want it cut.

Hillary: These Republicans want to round up illegals and put them in “boxcars”

Via Mediaite, a little Nazi allusion to go with yesterday’s terrorism slur from someone who once said, as a United States senator, “I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants.” Not only was she adamantly against illegal immigrants, she called for creating a national entry/exit ID card to keep track of people who’ve been admitted to the country legally — and maybe not just those people. Quote: “Although I’m not a big fan of it, we might have to move towards an ID system even for citizens.”
Hillary’s prior support for cracking down on illegals will come up during this campaign, rest assured, although we’ve learned from the gay-marriage debate that Democratic voters have a seemingly limitless capacity for forgiving ideological heresies. (Then again, as we’re seeing with Trumpmania, so do Republican voters.)(snipola)Peter Spiliakos made what I thought was a good point about Trump’s appeal this morning at NRO. It may be true that Trumpmania is largely a reaction to Bush 3.0, but it’s also a reaction to the garden-variety slipperiness of pols like Marco Rubio and Scott Walker. Spiliakos:
Marco Rubio went from opposing upfront amnesty, to supporting upfront amnesty, to opposing it again. Scott Walker went from supporting amnesty and a path to citizenship to opposing it, and then went from opposing birthright citizenship to supporting birthright citizenship.
For many Trump supporters, the actions of Rubio and Walker show that all of politics is a charade. Any shiny new conservative who appears to be an alternative to both Bush and Trump will turn out to be the same as Bush. Every politician’s election year promises are just a different combination of lies and misdirections to cover up the exact same governing agenda.

If Hillary Clinton had a lesbian affair with Huma Abedin then everything in Weinergate fits
Coach is Right ^ | 8/31/15 | Kevin “Coach” Collins
Posted on 8/31/2015 2:16:57 PM by OldpuppymaxWritten four years ago, this prescient piece by Coach Collins has led the discussion on a relationship which may have cost American lives and provided state secrets to the Muslim Brotherhood. It is re-posted here just as it appeared on June 6th of 2011.
By Kevin “Coach” Collins
People are motivated to follow their darker instincts by lust for money power or sex.
In mid 2007 rumors started to circulate about Huma Abedin a stunningly beautiful staffer working for Hillary Clinton. The wagging tongues of Washington asked logical questions about Huma. “If Hillary is bisexual (as had long been thought and occasionally uttered in public), what is the nature of her relationship with the dark eyed enchanting Abedin, a young lady from a strict Muslim family?”
“Is the fact that Huma was never seen twice in the same designer outfit and lived in a $649,000 condo explainable because she was trading sexual favors with Hillary for a fabulous lifestyle?” “If so what does that make Huma?”
“How did Huma, whose government salary was listed as $9,999, live as she did?”
“Is Hillary Clinton a lesbian?”
Is Huma Abedin her lesbian “kept woman?”
In 2007 Michael Musto a Village Voice columnist who writes about gay issues commented that Hillary might be “Gayle King-ing” Huma, that is getting her a higher profile in order to head off media scrutiny about her and why Clinton would be “hiding” Huma and the true nature of their relationship.
In her tell all book about her affair with Bill Clinton Gennifer Flowers wrote that when she asked Bill if Hillary is a lesbian he laughed and made reference to her being more experienced…
