Wow, constant readers – the Ben Carson campaign has really blown up in recent days.
And by “blown up” I mean:
.
Let’s look at how the pyramid scheme played out in Freeperville, shall we?
Carson on the defensive over claims of past violence, pyramids
Politico ^ | 11/5/15 | NICK GASSPosted on 11/5/2015 7:01:55 PM by jimbo123
Ben Carson was put on the defensive on Thursday, with reporters pressing him about a series of reports that have sprung up questioning the factual accuracy of his past statements.
As Carson has gained in the polls, so has media scrutiny of the 64-year-old retired pediatric neurosurgeon and Republican presidential candidate, whose past and present statements have drawn no shortage of curiosity and interest.
On Thursday, during a stop on his book tour, Carson was pressed on everything from a report that questioned past claims of his physical violence toward others, an interview in which he appeared to struggle with the complexities of Cuban immigration policy in South Florida, and a rediscovered past speech in which he expressed his belief that the Great Pyramids of Giza were constructed by the biblical figure Joseph to store grain, not pharoahs’ tombs.
A CNN reporter in particular tried to pry more details out of Carson after the network published a report titled “A tale of two Carsons” in which it could not corroborate the candidate’s past claims in his books that he had acted violently in his childhood and adolescence toward his family and others – claims that are part of Carson’s narrative of personal redemption.
Asked to be more specific about when the incidents occurred, Carson listed them in detail. “One of the ones where I threw a rock and broke someone’s glasses, that occurred when I was maybe about 7 or 8, the stabbing, attempted stabbing incident occurred when I was 13 or 14, the – what’s another incident? Give me another one,” Carson asked a scrum of media on CNN in Miami during a book signing tour. “Trying to hit my mom in the head with a hammer? That was around the same time as the stabbing incident.”

To: jimbo123The stuff about a violent youth seems now to have been puffery to sell his book. The pyramid stuff is just wierd. And I hear his main man is not a “campaign manager” but a “business manager.” What up widdat? Is he just in it for the money?
To: jimbo123I shouldn’t be remotely surprised, but I am, at how many people on the right are making excuses for this insanity.
If Trunp cam out and said Aliens make Pepsi cans by crocheting aluminium wire in zero gravity, or Cruz expressed belief that Northern Pike were descended from Hymalian Yeti, They would get crucified by each other and everyone else. But this buy, BECAUSE HE’S BLACK, gets kid glove treatment By people supposedly on THE RIGHT.

To: jimbo123Whoever tells the pollster(s) they support Carson have to be even bigger lightweights. When is this bored MSM stuff going to stop? The book marketing is all anyone needs to know. Hard to believe anyone (e.g., Santorum) can make a career out of running for POTUS and have folks voluntarily fork over money.
To: jimbo123The media is trying to Herman Cain Dr. Carson.
Um – Herman Cain “Herman Cained” Herman Cain. I’ve been waiting for Carlson to make a campaign spot with a creepy stoned smile to make the circle complete.
This headline is only “believed” by the left.
Now who puts the word believed in quotation marks?
They want to turn a man who expresses a Christian faith into a liar with mental issues. However bad you think Dr. Carson is, he would be far better than Obama or Hillary or Bernie.
New campaign slogan?
He’s not my choice but don’t fall for this garbage. Look at what Obama believes and the lies he tells and he gets a pass and Dr. Carson is a moron – I don’t think so.

Anyone with functioning 2 brain cells and 10 seconds to employ them knows it’s moronic from any conceivable angle to spend a couple lifetimes and the care and feeding of a slave army, building a grain storage facility with an internal volume that is fractional when you’d grow and consume thousands of crops that could externally BURY the pyramids in that timeframe.
You call that judgement? Good freaking luck with your space alien.

Yesterday Trump called Politico dishonest. Today he is spreading their Ben Carson lie.

Posted on 11/7/2015 1:58:15 AM by Cincinatus’ WifeRedState’s own Leon Wolf did a great job exposing the Politico story about Ben Carson and West Point as a lie. Washington Post reporter Dave Weigel is also churning out great information on Twitter regarding the story.
I want to focus on what Donald Trump is doing with the story, however.
Yesterday, November 5, Donald Trump had this to say about Politico:
Look, Politico is so dishonest in so many different things. This Politico website or whatever the hell they call it, I mean, they write about me. We don’t deal with them anymore because the level of dishonesty is incredible.
Today, November 6, Donald Trump is spreading the false Politico story about Ben Carson. Below is one of the several Trump Tweets citing the Politico piece.
What an incredible turnaround. It appears Trump is willing to do whatever it takes to destroy Carson, who is poised to disrupt his position as GOP frontrunner.
Yesterday, Trump seized on the silly CNN investigation of Carson’s childhood. According to Trump, Carson’s childhood might be a “total fabrication.?
Ironically, much of Trump’s support is due to the perception that he tells the truth and shuns the mainstream media. It is now clear that he will abandon that notion when it suits him politically.

To: Cincinatus’ WifeIt’s funny that Red State, which has never fact checked anything for Trump in their life, are now trying to pump up the Pro-TPP, Mannatech Ben Carson, then say that Trump will “do everything to destroy Carson.” The irony.

They are obvious GOPee/Demo propagandists. It pains me to admit it but you are right, Trump should know better than to jump on a bandwagon pulled by the likes of Politico 🙁
I’m no hypocrite, when you are right I will say you are right.
That said, some of the stuff coming from Carson is just weird.

To: Cincinatus’ WifeAs a huge Trump supporter (check my posting history if you don’t believe me), what Trump did yesterday was simply pathetic and disappointing. Trump essentially kicked Carson while he was down.
Politico lies about Dr. Carson; what does Trump do? Does Donald go after Politico for their “assassination” of Dr. Carson through lies and a smear campaign? Nope, Donald takes the opportunity to kick Carson while he was down. Sorry, but this was classless on Trump’s part.
I hope those who bought this Politico hit piece on Dr. Carson are equally supportive when they try this on Trump.
Even Rush seemed disappointed by Trump using this opportunity to kick a fellow Republican when they were down considering the media outright lied about Carson’s past.
Very disappointed in Trump for this.
Once again, to those who want to call me a Trump basher or a TDS sufferer, check my posting history. what Trump did yesterday was tacky and just plain wrong.
Ben Carson: I Got Held Up Once at Popeye’s – But I Told the Gunman to Rob an Employee Instead
Rawstory ^ | October 08, 2015
Posted on 10/10/2015 9:35:50 AM by Helicondelta
Ben Carson has been bragging all week that he would charge head-on at gunmen, if he ever encountered one — and now he says he actually has been faced with that threat. The Republican presidential candidate said Thursday morning that he had a gun drawn on him while visiting a Baltimore fried chicken restaurant, reported The Hill.
“I have had a gun held on me when I was in a Popeye’s organization,” Carson said on Karen Hunter’s Sirius XM Radio program.
“Guy comes in, put the gun in my ribs,” Carson said.
Carson said twice this week that the victims in last week’s Oregon community college shooting should have tried to tackle the gunman and would not “just stand there and let him shoot me.”
That’s exactly how Army veteran Chris Mintz got shot seven times and wounded during the massacre — although Carson admits he had never heard of him until a reporter asked.
So what happened when Carson allegedly faced just such a threat? He directed the gunman’s attention to an employee of the fast food restaurant.
“I just said, ‘I believe that you want the guy behind the counter,’” Carson said.
The retired brain surgeon did not explain what happened next.

Posta incoherenta :
To: HelicondeltaOnce every person UNDERSTANDS that EVERYTHING the “free press” prints is to obscure or hide the Truth (Yes, God), we can truly “progress”. (Truth sets us Free and we can’t have that!!!!!)
The ‘press” is Mind Control (actually, EMOTION control—for people who “believe” the press without their own research are NOT thinking EVER)…… The press is controlled by a few elites (has been since 1920 when JP Morgan bought all the important AP outlets and the Rockefellers controlled the textbook and publishing companies (and New York Time’s “best” seller lists)-—so they could sell their agenda and “normalize” anything-—even men are women (LOL) to totally remove REASON and LOGIC from our legal “system”….so all our children are DUMB and Western Civilization is erased (The Age of Reason and Modern Science and Individualism) to a tribal, pagan, irrational Mindset (Marxism/satanism) which always collapses civilizations. The “Press”is for the “proper perceptions of the ignorant unthinking masses” to control ALL perceptions and distract (addict) from the truth, as Diana West, E. Stanton Evans and thousands of people have documented.
The satanic sodomite press tries to demean and discredit anyone who proclaims Truth/God. Can’t have the “Truth” for the little children——because Vice makes Slaves only. Have to have little children “thinking” Good is Evil and Evil is Good-——for their Matrix to be Real and children to grow up being slaves voluntarily………like the obamaphone lady…..stupid, ignorant people who can’t use Logic and Reason and “think” Slavery is Freedom, and sodomizing others is a virtue.
As the satanic Hillary screeched: What difference does it make????? that Ben Carson has superior instincts even when he was a young man in assessing dangerous situations. It is just Apples and Oranges and it proves again how God is so prominent in the direction of his life.

Bystander Opens Fire on Shoplifter at Michigan Home DepotChicago Tribune ^ | 10/8 Posted on 10/8/2015 2:17:29 AM by nickcarraway
A concealed-carry license holder is cooperating with police after she opened fire on a shoplifter who was fleeing a Home Depot on Tuesday afternoon, police in Auburn Hills, Mich., said.
The shooting happened in the store’s parking lot about 2 p.m., when Home Depot security was chasing a shoplifter in his 40s who jumped into a waiting dark SUV, said Lt. Jill McDonnell, an Auburn Hills police spokeswoman.
But when the SUV began to pull away, a 48-year-old woman suddenly began firing shots at the fleeing vehicle. The vehicle escaped – but possibly has a flat tire, McDonnell said.
The woman who fired the shots has a license to carry a firearm and is cooperating with police.

OK – Four things can happen (more than four, but these are the most probable) when you discharge your handgun at a “bad guy” (note: “bad guy” does not include shoplifters, people who cussed you out or cut you off in traffic), and three of them are bad.
1.You hit your target and he/she is killed instantly
(requires head shot or a CNS hit)
2. You miss your target due to adrenaline tremor and hit an innocent bystander.
3. You wound your target (even fatal wounds are usually not fatal for some minutes) and they turn their attention to you. Some shooting victims don’t even know they’ve been shot.
4. You hit your target, but the bullet over-penetrates, exits your target, and hits an innocent bystander.
Still feel like playing Rambo?

Just as a clarification:
Does that mean shooting someone going 32 mph in a school zone?
Or shooting a five year old sneaking a candy bar at the neighborhood pharmacy?
Or blasting a 20 year old that is buying beer on a fake ID?
Or gunning down the person that is selling the beer?
You going to shoot ‘em all? And then ask them?

To: Bartholomew RobertsIt is disturbing to me that your post had to even be written.
If we assume that it is indeed true that all that happened was that she shot at a fleeing shoplifter in a vehicle that did not appear to threaten to run her or anyone else down, etc., then what she did was so blatantly wrong she should not be carrying a weapon.
The fact that you had to spell that out to people who seem to be unable to face that reality is problematic.

To: Crazieman; princess leahIt isn’t that conservatives have been “retrained”.
It is that the responsibility for owning and carrying a deadly firearm includes being able to discriminate on when to use it.
It isn’t appropriate to shoot someone because they are shoplifting, that isn’t even open to discussion.
