Pulp Fiction Thursday: The Double Take

Roy Huggins had a long career in Hollywood as the creator-writer-producer of a string of successful teevee shows including 77 Sunset Strip, Maverick, and The Rockford Files. It all began with The Double Take.

Huggins sold the novel and himself to Columbia Pictures. The movie was retitled I Love Trouble.

It’s a fun movie that recently played on TCM’s Noir Alley. Dr. A and I liked it more than Eddie Muller.
