😟 I’m sorry to throw this into your cocktail hour, but I had missed reading Cassandra’s wonderful “I Believe Them” column until today and I wasn’t sure where to comment. I believe them, too, but at least one of Epstein’s victims does not believe other women and that hurts us all:
🤬 Every bit of the Epstein story is sick and corrupted. And, unfortunately, the victims group has women who added to the taint. I am seriously disappointed in Epstein victims who say they voted for Trump and are NOW disappointed by him!! Jena-Lisa Jones is the one I have seen everywhere thanking Congress for “finally hearing them and believing them” and then being upset at Trump!! She states that she doesn’t believe Trump did wrong and that he is covering for others. She begs him to think what he would do if this happened to Ivanka or Tiffany! Holy Crap! I am disappointed in Jones!! 🤬🤬
Jones went through something horrific, grew up desperately needing people to believe her story; is still seeking justice. I hope justice finally comes. But, her vote for Trump means SHE DIDN’T BELIEVE the dozens of women who accused Trump of sexual abuse in 2015/16! She doesn’t believe the various reporters since then or even the judgment against Trump in the E. Jean Carroll case. She doesn’t know/care enough about Trump’s behavior to see that he is the one who has been inappropriate about both his daughters! I am not victim-shaming; I am MAGA-shaming!! Believe the other women, Ms. Jones, and vote for those who believe women (which is not Trump/MAGA), or you will perpetuate a world that won’t listen to you!! 🤨🤨
