Thomas Rousseau, leader of the fascist club for manchildren known as Patriot Front, looks like he’d be OK with having two daddies in a heartbeat, if one of them could be any Confederate general and the other one was any member of the Allman Brothers.
Well, except one.
By the way, let’s give it up for Jaimoe, the last surviving member of the original Allman Brothers Band lineup.
Rousseau led his charge of chumps into the District on July 4 for some Bigot Theater. As usual, the goal was to attract pics and clicks, and they did. It must stick in their craw, though, that the one photo that will actually have legs (and awards) showed a non-fascist’s calm amongst a wave of white wussies.
The part that struck and entertained me, though, was the video of these clowns scurrying back out of the city once they were done. Dressed the same, moving the same, everybody put your flags here, now everybody put your Metro card in the bag. Everybody on the train, kids!
And then we approach the absurd as we see this masked-to-menace private army of racists just, you know, take the Metro back to the ‘burbs, get off at New Carrollton (ironically tucked among a few quite culturally diverse bedroom communities), and filter through the parking garage. Back to their cars and minvans.
Then back to everyday society, where they can’t afford to let their politics get outed. Where they live amongst us.
DC To Richmond
Coming to the city just to complain about non-white people and “Replacement Theory” and then running from the city is not a new thing in concept. It reminds me of the white people two hours south in Richmond who love to chirp at any headline about the city’s governance or budget issues or crime.
It takes a certain commitment to obliviousness as a group of people to flee a city en masse because civil rights finally arrived in practical terms; kneecap the population, the tax base, the business base, and the housing investment; have no problem as the state government takes legislative pains to isolate the now-minority-prevalent cities from their suddenly wealthier white counties; and then point to any problem in the city with a wink as proof that “they” just don’t run things as well.
Can’t erase history? My generation’s parents and grandparents did it all the time in Virginia, so we would never even realize this history was there. Racism is generally allergic to context.
INGRAHAM AND LEE
Before I get out of here, let’s offer up some disgust for Laura Ingraham and Utah’s Senator Mike Lee. They were at the forefront of the “must be Antifa!” brigade when the footage of the Bigots’ Big Day Out started appearing.
The idea that neither of them know or could easily find out about Rousseau’s organization is obviously not plausible. Not knowing would be professional malpractice for either one. They’re not low-IQ; they’re just deeply wrongheaded. Ironically, all they’d have to do is check Rousseau’s wiki to discover this nugget:
On August 5th, 2020, Rousseau and two Patriot Front members disguised as Antifa agents were arrested for placing stickers on and around the county courthouse in Parker County, Texas. All members admitted to the crime.
Every accusation a confession — even when it comes from entrenched MAGA elite working to sucker the gullible with false flags while the rest of us (on both sides) know exactly what’s going on.
