Did you ever stop and think how much of the Trump/Putin/Netanyahu/Bolosnaro chaos has in common?

Trump: Pre-suing Alaska in case their guy loses. Suing more than half of these United States to fuck with their voter rolls — AND LOSING EVERY TIME. And now, doubling down in California as pre-election PR.

Bolsonaro: It was rigged! Also Trump: It was rigged!
(Bolsonaro’s own party: Eh, let’s move on.)

Putin doesn’t have to cry “rigged!” for obvious reasons, which only makes him that much hotter to certain wannabe-dictators and full-time narcissists.

It’s always someone else’s fault with these jerks, which brings to mind one of many pearls of wisdom from U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens.

So naturally Trump is rolling out the red carpet for the fugitive Bolsonaro. Which made me ponder who Trump is ushering in, and who Trump is putting in handcuffs: People like Mark Mikhail, the young man in this post’s lead image.

Mark has been here legally. He goes to Notre Dame. He’s even active in his Christian community (see the letter his fellow students wrote on his behalf). And yet, for some reason I can’t quite put my finger on, ICE snatched him.

But Trump and his complicit Republicans would rather swap out Mikhail for Bozo Spawn. It’s never been about legal or illegal. It’s certainly never been about making America great “again.”

It’s just been about co-opting the white bigoted “Christian” (air quotes out of respect to people like Mikhail and many of my friends) demographic to preserve power. And by preserve power, I mean stay out of indictment/court/prison.

Take the House and the Senate on Tuesday — and be ready with a sufficiently funded legal team — and we might have a chance to slow down the U.S. Grifter/Bigot-in-Chief. We might even put him out of a job.

So let’s get ‘er done. Because I’ll tell you one thing: This lady is voting for sure.
