With AHS: Coven in full campy flight, I went on a pulp witch hunt and uncovered these gems in my archives:
A. Merritt’s witch tale was made into a movie in 1962. I haven’t seen it but I haven’t read the book either. PFT is about the ART, such as it is, baby:
The movie “Burn Witch Burn” (AKA “Night Of The Eagle”) was based on a 1943 story by Fritz Leiber called “Conjure Wife.” It was also made into a 1944 film, “Weird Woman.” It’s doubtful this has anything to do with your pulp novel by A. Merritt – correct me if I’m mistaken.
You appear to be correct. It seems to be a disambiguation.
