Barack Obama turned 55 today. His approval rating is on the rise, his chosen successor is ahead in the polls, and he’s married to Michelle. Life is sweet for my fellow Leo. We haven’t posted a Happy Democrat photo for quite some time, so here we go:

Speaking of birthdays, WWL-TV morning news co-host Sally-Ann Roberts (Robin’s big sister) likes to sing Stevie Wonder’s Happy Birthday to viewers. In a running joke, her sardonic co-anchor Eric Paulsen concludes the singing with a muttered “to ya.” For some reason this always cracks me up. I’m dedicating it to POTUS today:
