Kamala Stuck The Landing

The DNC saved the best for last. The speeches were excellent: the crowd high spirited and the nominee magnificent.

After last night, I was nervous about timing but Vice President Harris hit the stage at 9:30 central and gave the speech of a lifetime. Like all great orators, she built momentum then closed with a bang.

I was among those who knew she had the right stuff. Tonight, she strutted her stuff and told the world that she’d always had only one client: the people.

It’s Kamala’s time. Joe Biden made this possible. We should be forever grateful to Joe for passing the torch to his rightful political heir. Vice President Harris is on course to be the 47th president and the first woman to hold the office. It’s about damn time.

Repeat after me: Kamala stuck the landing.

The last word goes to New Orleans own, Jon Batiste. Sorry Bey, I have to stand up for my homey.
