You should hear Congressman Dan Lungren blathering about the same stuff. During his first debate with his opponent, Bill Durston, the audience laughed at some of his comments too, but he got very peeved at that, stopping once to point to someone who was “making faces” at him. Republican congress folks just don’t have a sense of humor. Or, is it they just don’t recognize when they are joking?
