    That’s nothing you should hear what happened to Rudy Guilanni he is speaking with Zig Zigler and Colin Powell and that guy who won 8 gold medals and it will only cost people 4.95 to watch them!
    Rudy used to command big fees, but times are tough.
    I think I might go and ask him a question.

    Besides artists being employed, the artists buy art supplies, etc. So there is a substantial economy built around the arts (how many kids didn’t have crayola crayons?).
    Then add in that in the ill-conceived plots of schools to save money by dumping the arts programs, it was found that the arts were beneficial to the “real” classes such as science. And I’d add that a central core of education is finding out about yourself as a human and human expression.
    Of course, if one would accept the overly simplistic assumption that the neocons are emotionally stiffled, it would follow that they don’t “get” the arts.
