It was a windy, cold and blustery day in New Orleans so I had Graham Parker and the Rumour in my head all afternoon. It’s getting crowded in here and the only way to banish an earworm is to share it. That’s my theory at least:

Hope y’all are doing ok, weatherwise. Yesterday I wrapped as much insulation around my pipes as I could; overnight I let the faucets drip and ran a space heater under the sink.
Last year I learned my lesson: woke up one morning to frozen, but, thank heavens, not burst, pipes. Was able to thaw them with the space heater, and now I take no chances.
But next month’s heat bill is going to be a bear…
Very cold. The big impact is on the business; way down from last December because of cold weekends.

Nope the wind chill is 25F today. Michael is in Baton Rouge where it gets considerably colder. Lake Pontchartrain keeps us warmer than them but it’s very damp and muggy today.
