Like most classic rock bands, Traffic reformed and did a reunion tour.. Since co-founder/co-leader Jim Capaldi died in 2005, and Steve Winwood doesn’t need the dosh, it’s apt to be the last. Here they are at Woodstock, ’94 performing the opening medley from the genuinely classic, John Barleycorn Is Dead elpee:

I bought that album just to get “Glad.” Everything else was a bonus. I still have it on vinyl, too.
I have the LP as well somewhere in a closet. Side 1 is brillaint: add Empty Pages and you have total awesomeness.
Thank you for posting this–Traffic is awesome, this song is the best.
I always forget just how good Traffic is/was. In my mind their albums always from high point to high point.
Oh I’m a huge Traffic fan. “The Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys” is a classic.
Forgot to mention that we’re going to see Steve Winwood on Nov. 25 (at Austin City Limits’ new studio) and I am totally stoked!
John Barleycorn Must Die
Love the giveaway! I love weirang anything about my daughter, I am one proud little mama! What else I thought was cute was the “Not so mother of pearl Neckless”. Sooo cute!
