‘We have to take into perspective what goes through boys’ minds when they see most of our thighs.’

Oh sweetheart. No, you don’t.

Fuck those boys, and what they think, and stop substituting “some imaginary judgmental dude who may or may not speak in your asshole father’s voice” for “Jesus.” He would very lovingly slap the shit out of you for making yourself and everyone around you miserable, instead of using the conscience He gave you to allocate your time towards being a decent human being.

Arbitrary rules designed to control people and make them angry and hurtful toward one another was kind of what got Him all het up in the first place, so quit measuring other people’s hemlines. There are plenty of poor people as need feeding.

  1. Yes, please, make me completely and totally responsible for what other people think about me. Make me guess what other people might be thinking without asking them or communicating in any way. Oh, and then make sure that I change my behavior and substitute their judgment for my own!
Because that won’t make me susceptible to peer pressure, like, at all…

  2. It reminded me of this from Roy on the IT Crowd:

“If two grown men can’t make a pervert happy for a few minutes in order to watch a film about zombies, then maybe we should all just move to Iran.”

  3. Hilarious–my guess is this is the type of person who also worries about the threat of “Sharia” law–without knowing that she would fit right in any extreme Muslim country. Paternalism and chauvinism ain’t just for Christians!
