Well, wouldn’t ya know it. The loading dock has been pretty empty of late – the occasional drop-off of a single barrel of interesting Freepitude, but mostly just Jim Rob’s endless whimpering for more money so he can get new batteries for his Hoveround.
The Trump / Cruz wars are over, the Freeperati have disowned all of their former media heroes, and the election year purges won’t start for another month or so yet. BOR-ING!!
I guess it’s a good time to take the airlock doors off the iso chamber and give everything a good going…….
Trump: Muslim Ban ‘Just A Suggestion’
Posted on 5/12/2016 2:55:23 PM by Cyberman
Donald Trump, who issued a December press release “calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States,” said Wednesday such a ban “hasn’t been called for yet” and it was “only a suggestion.”
It’s the latest lightning-speed evolution for the real estate tycoon as he pivots from the provocateur who upended the Republican primary to a general election candidate….
Trump: Muslim Ban ‘Just A Suggestion’
It’s like deja vu all over again….
To: CybermanOH BOY here goes Clinton News Network at play again…
WARNING!!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!!
Do not believe anything you read from CNN…they support Hillary and Hillary only and her ilk….
Trump: Save America…
Hillary: Screw America…
More exciting reactions to the new dolchstosslegende, nach der falte in dem artikel !
Where were we, now?
We’ve already had Anger and Denial. Can Bargaining be far behind?
Now watch for people to get hung up on policy proposals and call Trump a flip-flopper. Nevermind that banning Muslims was never the point in itself.
Well, the way you morons hooted and hollered when The Darnold first said it, it certainly seemed like it was the point.
The end goal is to keep Americans safe by having reasonable vetting procedures in place to screen out potential Jihadists among Muslim migrants. The goal hasn’t changed, and the policy means towards attaining it were always going to be mutable.
I’m just taking Trump at his spoken word…
His first statement was pretty clear on what he wanted to do and why…just like you posted…I agree with it…
Now it’s a Suggestion….because it’s almost impossible to implement…
He changed his position….not very surprising, expect lots more position changes as he gets to understand how Congress works and the Byzantine laws we operate under, some by legislation or court ordered…
For some strange reason his most ardent supporters think he can bypass Congress, current laws, court decisions to keep his promises…
I’m sure he will try, but it’s a huge task to make good on promises he made off the top of his head…
Trump seems to be moving left on one issue after another. Yes, he is as undisciplined verbally as he is mentally, and anything he says has to be taken with a grain of salt, as nothing more than an improvisation of the moment. But … is there ANY issue on which he has shifted to the right?
Cruz said the same thing…except he said stop immigrants from Muslim countries instead of being muzzie specific.
That is weird. It’s almost as if he understood how to frame a debate for the purpose of protecting one’s position from attack….as if he were some kind of world class debater who could bring the conservative platform to the people in a way that the MSM would have a harder time attacking….as if we had the most competent and conservative candidate since 1980 sitting right in fromnt of us and the fools were tricked by the MSM once again into nominating a donkey in elephant’s clothing.
Oh well…I guess platitudes and stream of consciousness diatribes will have to do. Consistent conservative logic has left the building.
That’s the spirit! Keep doing the same s——t over and over again, thinking that it will be different this time! I mean, its bound to be true one of these times, right?
Or, you can maybe come to an awareness that every single one of them are playing us all like cheap kazoos. The next meaningful vote I MIGHT get to cast in my lifetime here in the USA will not be printed on paper or shown on a screen. It will be copper jacketed.
There is no longer a system to work within.
To: jwalsh07And so the drip, drip, drip starts – “just a suggestion”, “this is the Republican party, not the conservative party”, etc. etc. I guess the supply of red meat to the base is running low now that he’s got the nomination.
To: CybermanPosted on an earlier thread:Lack of principles? Placing a temporary moratorium on Muslim immigration until we figure out what’s going on would indeed be a highly principled commonsense act, but I don’t think this was ever part of Trump’s original plan. And it was no part of anyone’s plan. If I remember correctly, Trump just kind of threw it out there during a campaign rally a day or two after the San Bernardino Muslim terrorist attack. It caught in like wildfire amongst his supporters, but the entire ruling class (other than possibly Jeff Sessions) and all fellow candidates and “conservative” pundits immediately pooh-pooed the idea as being unconstitutional. We’ll see. I hope he gets it done, but it would be a Herculean task.

Just depends on how far anti-Trump you go and if your posts encourage others to follow suit. FR is anti-commie, anti-Hillary. Hope you come around. We’d hate to lose you.
To: Jimmy McGillAs I said, it was not part of his original plan. He brought it out in response to the the Dec 2 Muslim terrorist attack. Will be great if he can make it stick. But as always, as American citizens our primary defense against these bastards is to remain armed and diligent.Madam Comrade President Hillary not only wants to throw open our borders to all comers, she wants to disarm us.The choice has never been more stark.
More than enough for one day, methinks.
See you kamraden next Monday!
