Actually, I feel a bit like Brak : Pretty much burned out from watching too much news lately.
(If you missed Saturday’s Bonus “Obsession”, please click here for the fun and schaudenthingy.)
Good Monday morning, all! Remember Mittens’ loss to Barack Obama in 2012? The despair and hysteria among the Freeperati at the thought of being forced to have health insurance, and the realization that they had lost?
Go to the link above, if you will, and look at the quick progression along the Five Stages to Acceptance when Obama won.
It’s different this time.
The cult has backed itself into a corner that has no exit. The Darnold said that he really won, and that Joe Biden cheated.
That Biden managed to fabricate 75 million votes, because of course he did.
Dr. Carrie Barron wrote, in Psychology Today:
“You might hear a tale of woe, and just have the feeling that the teller is not all that woeful. Maybe there is a need to blame or malign for secondary gain: attention, fame, money, importance or drama. Maybe the person is not in touch with reality and is retaliating against an imagined transgression. Some seemingly intact people can have paranoid fears at the core. In order to “defend” themselves, they act against others. Maybe the goal is to take someone else down for competitive, regressed, or even unconscious reasons. They just want what the other one has.”
And if someone you praise and support denies the cheating?
STFU, Bibi !

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday morning congratulated Joe Biden after US news outlets declared him the winner of the election.
“Congratulations Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Joe, we’ve had a long & warm personal relationship for nearly 40 years, and I know you as a great friend of Israel. I look forward to working with both of you to further strengthen the special alliance between the U.S. and Israel,” he tweeted.
Netanyahu also thanked Trump for his friendship and actions taken during his presidency.
“Thank you Donald Trump for the friendship you have shown the state of Israel and me personally, for recognizing Jerusalem and the Golan, for standing up to Iran, for the historic peace accords and for bringing the American-Israeli alliance to unprecedented heights.”
********************Outcome of election is still very much contested. So STFU, Bibi.

WTF? After Trump saved his ass! This won’t age well.Trump saved Bibi’s fat ass multiple times.
All Netanyahu had to do was say nothing. What a schmuck.
RedState sells out The Fop Posted on 11/7/2020, 2:55:04 PM by The Fop
After HotAir went over to the dark side over the past 4 years, I started reading RedState again and was pleased to see that Erick Erickson was no longer associated with them.
But ever since Wednesday morning, I’ve been keeping an eye on the tone of Conservative blogs.
RedState seemss(sic) quite calm and unperturbed by the steal. Yes, they’ve done some stories about alleged voter fraud, but their heart doesn’t seem to be very into it.
So far they have no stories about Giuliani’s press conference today. But they did have a story sticking up for Dan Crenshaw in his Twitter spat with new GOP congresswoman, who criticised his lack of fight.
Free Republic is for the people by the people. Nobody here trying to make a living in journalism. At this point, I don’t trust anybody in the political class, and that includes many blogger’s(sic) too.
President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner has tried to talk him into conceding the election, CNN reported late Saturday.
The network, citing two sources, said that Kushner, a top White House advisor, broached the subject with the president following Joe Biden’s victory earlier in the day.
Trump must rid the White House of all those who are not 100% loyal. Why start now?
For the past four years, he’s insisted on surrounding himself with people who never wanted him to be president in the first place.
A Proud Boys member warned “we’re rolling out” after presidential candidate Joe Biden was named the president-elect.Shortly after Decision Desk HQ and other outlets named Biden as the winner of the 2020 presidential race, defeating President Donald Trump in his bid for reelection, a self-proclaimed Proud Boys “chairman” stated that Trump’s “standby order” is no longer in effect.
The claim, made on the microblogging website Parler, seemed to reference Trump’s previous calls for the alt-right group to “stand back and stand by.”
“We’re rolling out,” wrote the user, who goes by the handle @NobleLead. “Standby order has been rescinded.”
******************************************Hmmm – where’s my decoder ring ?
While pretty much everyone else on the planet was chortling over Rooty raising his hands to the sky and declaring “THE NEWS MEDIA!!!1!” when his “conference” was interrupted by a reporter informing him that even FOX had declared Joey B. Shark the President-Elect…
Switched to FOX for a brief second- FYI THEY HAVE OFFICIALLY JOINED THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE MEDIA-THEY ARE NOT COVERING THIS!
To: hsmomx3The networks just called the race for BiteMe.Interesting timing.
They must have been watching their news feeds they weren’t running from the cameras they didn’t have there, so they could all co-ordinate it!
I love what Giuliani is saying but whoever picked the venue (a dirt lot of a landscaping company, next to a porn shop and a crematorium) should be FIRED.
That would be Cory Lewandowski – you know – the idiot standing next to the idiot who’s talking. You know – The Darnold’s top campaign advisor?
President Donald Trump’s legal team gathered Saturday morning in Philadelphia to hold a press conference at which they shared conspiracy theories about why Trump lost the 2020 election. The fact that the president’s lawyers are working to find ways to overturn the election results is notable, but perhaps even more so is where they chose to hold their conference: Four Seasons Total Landscaping.
The small business, which bills itself as a 27-year-old, woman-owned company that has grown to service major clients (including the city’s airport) appears to be an American success story. But the decision to hold the conference there, in front of a white garage door papered over with campaign signs, was incredibly odd. It felt awkward and small, the antithesis of a president and campaign that has long valued over-the-top visuals and maximum entertainment value.
The announcement of the event made it seem as though it would be a typical Trump team affair full of glitz: “Lawyers News Conference Four Seasons, Philadelphia. 11:00 a.m.,” Trump tweeted Saturday morning.
He later clarified, however, that it wouldn’t actually be held at the hotel chain but at the now-famous landscaping business, something the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia confirmed on Twitter:
To clarify, President Trump’s press conference will NOT be held at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia.
It will be held at Four Seasons Total Landscaping— no relation with the hotel.

The twitter responses are priceless :
There is a process if Trump refuses to accept Biden’s victory if it all holds.
With the final vote in dispute, states with Democratic governors but Republican legislatures — including the key battleground states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Michigan and Wisconsin, the latter two of which have already been called for Biden — could conceivably end up dispatching two distinct groups of Electoral College voters, reported Marie Claire, citing a study by election scholar Edward B. Foley.
In that scenario, those states would have two competing sets of electoral votes, and, as president of the Senate, Republican Vice President Mike Pence would be tasked with unraveling the situation.
He could opt to throw out both sets of votes from those states, meaning neither candidate could reach the 270 electoral votes needed to clinch the presidency.
In that event, the members of Congress would vote for president and vice president.
The House of Representatives would vote for president, with each state’s delegation getting one shared vote, and a simple majority of 26 votes needed to elect.
In the Senate, each senator gets one vote, with a simple majority of 51 votes needed to elect.
Should either of those bodies fail to reach a majority, the plot thickens further.
If the Senate elects a vice president but the House of Representatives fails to elect a president, the vice president-elect serves as president until the impasse is resolved.
If neither body can reach a conclusion by Inauguration Day, then the presidential line of succession kicks in, and the speaker of the House of Representatives — currently Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) — would serve as president until the knot is untied.
God doesn’t love me that much.
Pay-per-view, por favor?
In this corner :

Methinks RD is about undertake a brash and foolhardy task.
He already did that. He voted for Trump.
If we see on the news an instance of some nut wearing beige with a nice accent blowing up Facebook headquarters or CNN? We will know who it is.
