  1. That was fuckin’ poetry man! I think of the actual rant, my fave bit is the “Oooooh GOOD for YOUUUUuuuuu!” LOL!!!!
I understand the guy is totally absorbed/damn nigh lost in his roles (ever see “the Machinist”??!? Creepy as shit) so something going a tad amiss would be situationally devastating. If they were actually filming the scene, there’s no way in hell the DP would be walking into the scene to check the light. My dad’s been a DP on some shoots, cameraman, cinematographer on others, so I understand the scenario. Bless him, Bale did overreact, but damn the boy is fine. He can come to my place, but I’ll ask him to take a St. John’s Wort before serving the coffee. 😉

  2. I like the one that mashes this up with David after the Dentist.
He’s a good actor but Bale oozes abusive personality. This won’t be the last time we see soemthing like this.

  3. Geez. Mellow. mell-O!
Sign of the times…last week I was talking to my mother and the universe caved in. We experienced a drastic tear in the time/space fabric.
My mother, saintly Catholic matron of eight children, three grandchildren and one great grandchild, was telling me about how she mediated an argument between my niece and the father of her child. On the phone, she says to me “Well, David, it was getting heated. There I was between them and all it was was ‘Fuck this’ and ‘Fuck that’.”
    I dropped my cellphone.
I am 50 years old on Wednesday and I have NEVER heard that word escape her lips. And, believe me, I have given her plenty of reasons to use it.

  4. You know, I don’t care who you are or how absorbed you are in your role, ranting like this is childish and out of control. We adults have to quit making excuses for other adults who behave abominably.
