The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals announced they will issue a ruling on President Trump’s temporary travel ban.

Washington Judge James L. Robart filed a temporary restraining order on President Trump’s refugee ban from seven terror states.

Fox just announced this as well.

I thought you guys were calling Fox “fake news” these days?
To: sheikdetailfeather

In case of a loss on this issue, can Trump make other orders which are similar? Can he ban all immigration in the interestof National Security?

Only if he wants the U.S. to declare war against a country. And the way that crazy son of a bitch is going, that just might be on his fuckit list.

I’m going to be positive and say they will support Trump’s Executive Order. My reason….They don’t want to be put down by the Supremes.

Probably 2-1 against. The Obama and Carter judges will go against Trump, the Bush one in his favor.Despite that, I do have a respect for the Carter-appointed judge that heard this case. He has the right temperament for a judge; the Obama one is a huge hack.

This is about an hour away now.The answer better be: Yep, President Trump has the authority.

Or what? You’ll un-appoint them?

Robart, shut up.

I know! Sickening Huh?! Why even bother to have an election for president or senators – congressman when these asses have more power and control the trashing of the constitution by making up their own laws and enforcing the people to abide by their rules!

This is so F!

To: sheikdetailfeather

It will probably be a 40-60 page ruling full of dense legal jargon and lots of gibberish, upholding the stay.

The whole thing is absurd. Leftist judges tying the hands of the president of the United States and preventing him from protecting the American people.

I will be shocked if this goes the president’s way.

So – to sum up:
If the 9th rules one way, they’re heroes and upholding the law.
If the 9th rules another way, they’re all traitorous usurpers.
Does that pretty much cover all the bases?

Okay, thanks for imposing your political agenda as law, so-called asshole doing your job and ruling on the legality of Executive Branch EOs, “judges”.

I should not be shocked but I thought even the 9th would strike this down. I guess it goes to SCOTUS.

You guys keep screaming SCOTUS!! like the outcome instantly goes to The Darnold.
The Supreme Court’s not going to touch this with a ten-foot pole (even if they did, it’s a 4-4 tie), and it’ll just go back to a Seattle courtroom to die a noisy and argumentative death.
This was your only chance to stick it to those muzzie terrorists like this one:
SEE? He’s already wearing a suicide vest!!

It’s a judicial coup, really. Dark days indeed for our nation.

The president no longer has the authority to protect us from invasion.

Let them all come in and kill us. That’s what the court is saying today.

Fox Business reporting that the restraining order has been upheld, no details yet.

Terrible if true. This should be about protecting Americans and the President has every right to do so.

What’s transpiring over on the left coast with these leftist judges is about protecting the liberal corrupt status quo, to h*** with American citizens being protected.

hork? help? hoot? hemp? ham it up?

These a-holes know if they can’t protect these illegals/immigrants coming in to this country for future votes, their corrupt statist liberal movement is dead in the future.

IMPEACH all these judges for not following our Constitution. The need for these future votes so they can hold on to power is much more important than the security of the American citizens. CONGRESS, IMPEACH THESE A-HOLES!!!!

So courts are the answer?

Courts are no longer the answer when judges try to overthrow the Government.

Trump administration won’t appeal ruling against immigration order to the Supreme Court Washington Post ^ | 10 Feb 17 | Washington Post Staff Posted on 2/10/2017, 5:13:46 PM by SkyPilot

The Trump administration can wage a legal battle in the lower courts to address more squarely whether the president’s immigration directive violates the Constitution. The White House is also mulling whether to rewrite the executive order. No matter what, the administration faces a difficult fight to restore the ban.

This is a developing story. It will be updated.

Since one court already ruled in favor of the EO, why can’t Trump just ignore the obviously politically motivated edict of the 9th Circus Court of Appeals?

He already tried that.
Didn’t work.

  1. I wonder when these refugees from #NeverTrump will get tired of winning.

  2. The Freeper super patriot class (Tom Brady honorary member) are back to being confused about just to what it is that they are supposed to be loyal unto the death. Are they loyal to the rule of law? The constitution? The GOP? The president*? The anti-government movement? The white race? The men’s rights movement? Neo-fascism? Their menu of Free Republic choices is full of options to chose from.

The one small grace is that their comments reveal that they are physically limited to only being able to maintain loyalty to one idea at a time. Trying to mediate between more than one at the same time leaves them unable to act, like Buridan’s ass hovering between equally appealing hatreds until they die. Or Robinson zots them for getting uppity.

  3. Tommy, though this is probably a nightmare request for you, it would be great digging up the feelers heads exploding when they were freaking out about obama’s signing of executive orders , I can’t imagine they are exploding now that the dear leader is signing then

    1. Actually, that’s a pretty boring topic in Freeperville. There’s only two approaches:
      1. Obama did it because he’s eeevil, and The Darnold does it because he’s good.
      2. Forgetting completely that they used to be incensed over Obama’s EOs.
Neither generates the kind of frisson’ that makes a good thread, unfortunately.
