I own a copy of this one! It’s a standard-issue Carr mystery, but instead of a locked room, the murder happens in plain sight of the victim’s wife. She claims a pistol mounted on the wall suddenly came to life, homed in on her husband, and fired, killing him. But Archons of Athens! Dr. Gideon Fell is also a guest at the house that weekend, and goes about gathering the scattered clues to figure out the mystery.
