Officer who fatally shot Tamir Rice judged unfit for duty by police in 2012
theguardian.com ^ | 12/03/2014 | Tom McCarthy in New YorkPosted on 12/3/2014 10:46:48 PM by Forgotten Amendments
A police officer who shot a 12-year-old dead in a Cleveland park late last month had been judged unfit for police service two years earlier by a small suburban force where he worked for six months, according to records released on Wednesday.
Officer Timothy Loehmann, who killed Tamir Rice on 22 November, was specifically faulted for breaking down emotionally while handling a live gun. During a training episode at a firing range, Loehmann was reported to be “distracted and weepy” and incommunicative. “His handgun performance was dismal,” deputy chief Jim Polak of the Independence, Ohio, police department wrote in an internal memo.
The memo concludes with a recommendation that Loehmann be “released from the employment of the City of Independence”. Less than a week later, on 3 December 2012, Loehmann resigned.

The good news is that they found out before he killed anyone,
the bad news is that in his field of work, policing, well………

He cried while handling a gun???
ROTFLMAO!!!
Yep. Real fucking funny.
Does he need a Snuggy too?
Maybe the other deoartment gave him a POS weapon like some 1980’s Glock 17, by Mattel.
I know I’d cry…

To: Rusty0604Officer Garmack placed his partner in a bad situation by pulling up within a few feet of a possibly armed suspect, creating a very small time window for a proper reaction. Poor training or ignoring their training is what caused this incident. Garmack should have been fired on the spot. Loehmann was unfortunately put in a near no-win position thanks to his partner. His value as an effective officer is now gone and hopefully will no longer be an LEO. These officers should have been several YARDS from this kid, coming from different directions, barking out commands for the kid to follow.
To: Forgotten Amendments“Loehmann shot the boy dead within two seconds of a police car driven by Garmack arriving to the park and pulling to a stop within feet of the child. In the video, released by Cleveland police a week ago, Loehmann appears to fire his gun as he opens the door to leave the police car.”

Remember the ill-fated attempt to unseat Boehner as Speaker?
In Freeperville it was a Gohmert Pile-on!
Louie Gohmert Reveals ‘Real Intimidation’ Happening in Speaker Battle
The Blaze ^ | January 5, 2015 | Erica RitzPosted on 1/5/2015 8:20:20 PM by Timber Rattler
Texas Republican Louie Gohmert said there is “real intimidation” happening in the fight to determine who will be the next speaker of the House of Representatives.
Gohmert announced Sunday that he is running for speaker to unseat John Boehner (R-Ohio). Glenn Beck warned him Monday that if he doesn’t win, his political future is over.
“If you don’t win, you’re toast,” Beck said. “And that’s exactly what they’re going to be saying [to those who don’t vote for Boehner]. That’s what Boehner is saying to everybody right now. ‘Listen, you don’t vote for me, you don’t play ball with me now, you’re not getting on any committee. You’re not going to be heard from again.’”

Boehner’s thugocracy in action.Disgusting.

To: Timber Rattler“If you don’t win, you’re toast,” Beck said. Sounds like Beck is fanning the hysteria. It’s not like brown shirts are standing outside the reichstag with revolvers. You just don’t get that lucrative committee perk or a bridge to nowhere.

Maybe it’s JUST ME, but I don’t see how being on the House Asia-Pacific Interrelational Infrastructure Sub-Committee or whatever the hell is so important to them is worth SELLING OUT your country and your voters for.
That’s because you haven’t experienced the…um… unique entertainments provided for them.
I just don’t see it…maybe it’s me.
Boener shouldn’t have ANY LEVERAGE, whats-so-ever…If I had ONE VOTE in the House I would be VERY HAPPY with that…and that alone, just as Dave Brat is.

Tea Partiers Protest At White House: ‘Hang The Lying Kenyan Traitor’
Right Wing Watch ^ | DECEMBER 12, 2014 | AHIZA GARCIA Posted on 12/12/2014 7:51:40 PM by where’s_the_Outrage?
Tea partiers shouted obscene, racist chants on Wednesday while gathered outside of the White House to protest President Obama’s executive actions on immigration.
Right Wing Watch reported that among the shouts, captured on video by one of the activists, protestors could be heard calling for the hanging of Obama.

I would think this is more of an infiltrate the tea party effort.Anyone here have backup on this?

To: BronzewoundThis confuses me.
I have seen post after post on FR calling for Obummer’s arrest, conviction, and hanging and/or being put in front of a firing squad. I have also seen posts calling him a ‘lying Kenyan traitor”, not to mention a homosexual, a Muslim, a communist, and a “piece of s##t”.
Yet, when people are out in front of the White House saying things that many on FR have already openly said in a public forum, we condemn them?
Somebody explain this to me.

I’ll explain it from my perspective. Yes, we may think these things privately or speak of them among ourselves online, but most Tea Party folks are smart enough not to act that way in public,
Apparently not.
because such actions and words from us would be used to
devalue our more substantial concernsexpose us as the virulent racists we are.
FIFY.
Our more substantial concerns being to reduce the encroachment of government into our private and professional lives. Most conservatives place a lot of value in proper decorum while in public. Thats’ why you see us picking up trash after our demonstrations. That’s why you don’t hear us using profanity nearly as fluently as most libs. We try to articulate our point of view by using reason while in public. In private, yes, many of us do believe these concepts about Obama and far worse than what’s listed here.
So – to sum up, you’re so proud of your motivations that you need to hide them from the public.
We usually know how to
compartmentalizelie about our bigotry
FIFY again.
better than Libs, who eat, sleep breathe and do all but fuel their cars on the strength of emotion.

To: reasonisfaith; central_va; hoagy62Note that anyone who has been to a tea party rally or understands the tea party perspective can tell instantly that claims of overt and blatant racism at a tea party rally are artificial, fabricated or an extreme anomaly.I know quite a few FReepers who really like the San Antonio Spurs (they have quite a few black players) and were happy when they won the NBA Championship.

for 2015…
Although originally conceived as a one-dimensional, recurring villain who might occasionally enter the Simpsons’ lives and wreak some sort of havoc, Burns’ popularity has led to his repeated inclusion in episodes. He is a stereotype of corporate America in his unquenchable desire to increase his own wealth and power, inability to remember his employees’ names (including Homer’s, despite frequent interactions – which has become something of a recurrent joke) and lack of concern for their safety and well-being.(…)

for 2015…
Wow, a holiday edition!
Thanks Tommy, you made those of us that had to work today a little happier.
“Yes, we may think these things privately or speak of them among ourselves online, but most Tea Party folks are smart enough not to act that way in public,” This repressed anger is what makes these bigoted deranged killers, who go and shoot up a school or a church or a meeting place. I guess those ones just aren’t smart enough..
Matthew – glad you all enjoyed it!
iceblue2 – when they discuss throwing away the dog whistle like that, it’s like they don’t realize that anyone can read what they’ve written,
The disconnect between how they think and what they say is more like a pedophile religious leader who is smart enough to know how his/her pathology is seen by the outside world, but is not ever going to stop indulging in that pathology.
