Christ on a crutch! I haven’t seen this long and explosive a knee-jerk since the last time a Freeper was caught shooting up a place.
The conflation of the “The niggers are all asking for it” and “Damned jackbooted thugs” posts is making for a more awkward Freeperville situation than seeing your parents’ sex tape pop up in their vacation DVD.
Well, no use putting it off.
Grand Jury Declines to Indict NYPD Officer in Eric Garner Chokehold Death: Sources

A New York City grand jury has declined to indict an NYPD officer in the chokehold case of Eric Garner, the unarmed man who died while being arrested on Staten Island earlier this year.
In opting not to indict, the panel determined there was not probable cause that a crime was committed by NYPD officer Daniel Pantaleo, who was seen on a widely watched amateur video showing him wrapping his arm around Garner’s neck as Garner yelled, “I can’t breathe!” during the summer altercation.
Aaand – we’re off!

To: deadUnlike Ferguson, this is a case where the officer(s) involved were clearly in the wrong. The video is pretty damning. And, remember that this incident started because Garner was suspected of selling untaxed cigarettes.
To: Conscience of a ConservativeI agree. I’m pretty shocked that there are no charges at all. A regular jury should have looked at all the facts here, including Garner’s pre-existing health conditions at the officer’s actions. The coroner did conclude it was a homicide and the police officer who choked him should have had to face a jury.Over untaxed loosies!
To: deadOh…dear….will we now see Congressional members of the Congressional Black Caucus laying in the aisles of the House, being held in a chokehold by another Black Racist Congressperson? The problem African-Americans is with you, not law enforcement officers!!!
You folks are now all alone, politically,…in the wilderness…put there by yourselves and your leaders, Obama, Holder, Sharpton, the CBC, the NAACP and the Obamabot Democrat Party!!!
The vast majority of the American people have your number!!! Your criminal lie game….folks is up!!!

To: navysealdadEric Garner had a long criminal record of over THIRTY criminal arrests and THREE cases pending for the exact same thing cops were questioning him about – selling illegal cigarettes on the corner,I didn’t realize that it was a capital offense.
To: rhoda_penmarkThat – PLUS resisting an officer.Well then by all means kill him.
To: Conscience of a ConservativeAgreed, if you want a case where the public should be outraged, this one is it.. All on tape and cops completely in the wrong…. Amazing the complete ignorance being espoused by some folks here.

To: deadThe cop used an illegal choke-hold and someone died as a result and the cop won’t be charged with a crime. If anyone else had done this they’d be up on charges. But it was a cop so it’s okay.
Can we just delete the 14th Amendment since it’s become such a mockery? Why bother with the pretense?

To: SJSAMPLE“I can’t breathe.” Said every little brother ever. Now the crooks have a simple way out of every arrest. It’s more convincing when you die.
To: dforestThe guy was resisting arrest.Yea, but you’re still not allowed to shoot, taser, baton, hit or grab a suspect… even if he’s trying to kill you. The only acceptable response is to try and calm the suspect down by handing him a cute, cuddly kitten.
OK – it’s all pretty much the same after that – let’s have an older thread as a plalate-cleanser.

Afghan Soldiers Go Missing in Cape Cod; Police Say They Pose No Threat

Three Afghan soldiers went missing in Cape Cod during a training exercise over the weekend, and police and military officials are scrambling to find any clues that will help bring the men back.
There were no details to report on the search, Lt. Col. James Sahady of the Massachusetts National Guard told The Associated Press Monday.
U.S. military officials said the Afghanistan National Army officers had been participating in a U.S. Central Command Regional Cooperation training exercise at Joint Base Cape Cod. They arrived at Camp Edwards on Sept. 11 and were last seen Saturday at the Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis, an off day for the program.
The soldiers were reporting missing by base security personnel on Saturday night. They were identified as Maj. Jan Mohammad Arash, Capt. Mohammad Nasir Askarzada, and Capt. Noorullah Aminyar.
The Afghan the soldiers pose no threat to the public, military officials said.

A) How do the police KNOW they don’t pose a threat?B)WHY do the police even think in the first place citizens might think they pose a threat?C) Are we out of our ever-lovin’ minds bringing Afghan soldiers here????
To: Texas Eagle“They were identified as Maj. Jan Mohammad Arash, Capt. Mohammad Nasir Askarzada, and Capt. Noorullah Aminyar.”These are not soldiers as the headline reads. These are officers. All three disappeared together at the same time.Police did not say they posed no threat as the headline reads. A spokesperson read something he was told to read by a politician.

To: lonevoiceThis “escape” was too easy. Maybe we can hold the government responsible for any death, destruction or plot to harm Americans in which these three officers will most likely take part as a result. We are so screwed.

Palin to campaign for tea-party longshot in tight Landrieu/Cassidy Louisiana Senate raceHot Air ^ | September 26, 2014 | Allahpundit Posted on 9/26/2014 2:22:22 PM by 2ndDivisionVet
Probably not fatal to the GOP’s hopes of retaking this seat, but not helpful either.
Per Becket Adams, since when do tea partiers describe rich people as “the one percent”?
[Palin] is slated to appear at a Saturday event organized around [Rob] Maness’s “#OneofUs” campaign, a campaign intended to frame the candidate as an average Louisianan in contrast to the GOP front-runner in the race, Rep. Bill Cassidy, and Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.), both of whom Maness has characterized as out-of-touch Washington elites.
“If you could sum up this campaign, it’s two of them vs. one of us,” a source familiar with the event told The Hill.
“Mary Landrieu illegally uses taxpayer dollars to pay for charter planes. Bill Cassidy is hosting Mitt Romney at a white-linen fundraising event for the 1 percent. Former Republican vice presidential nominee and Gov. Sarah Palin will be joining Rob Maness at an event here in Louisiana at a local restaurant with a great story serving some gator.”
As I say, not helpful but probably not fatal.

To: nhwingutYou are right on about this The ads that Manes are running are being funded by funding and approval of the Senate majority leader PAC. All the ads attack Cassidy. manes is running no ads against Landrieu. I supported Palin in her run. She is now a trouble maker. All this does is take votes from Cassidy. We need to get Landrieu out thus is not the way to do it. She is not even popular in Alaska, so she spends her time meddling in races that are sure to keep the democrats in control. This guy Manes is no conservative. I know too many democrats that are helping him. Landrieu is dumb as grass. We came close to getting her out in the last election. Rember the Louisiana purchase during the health care bill.
